As someone with combination skin and occasional breakouts, finding a product that keeps my skin clear without stripping away essential moisture is always a challenge. However, I’ve been very lucky over the past six months to find that my acne and breakouts have – for the majority of the time – been kept at bay. That being said, I will forever class myself in the category of the ‘breakout prone’, and I make it my mission to always share and review new launch products.
The TEMPLE SPA Clear To Me Skin Clarifying Serum has quickly become one of TEMPLE SPA’s go-to skin solutions for those trying to fight persistent blemishes – so how did I find it?
Firstly, I am prone to the occasional bumpy breakouts under the skin around my jaw area, which are much more controlled lately. I did find though that I am always going to need help fighting blemishes and balancing my combination skin, I have dry cheeks and an oily t-zone. Therefore, I appreciated that this serum is packed with niacinamide, which is excellent for calming inflammation and controlling excess oil.

I noticed within 10 days of using, my oil was more controlled and I really loved the feel of the lightweight formula which absorbs quickly. I’d describe my skin as feeling refreshed, not greasy or tight, after I use it just before bed.
But what really sets this serum apart for me is the inclusion of retinal. I’m 38 and like to be actively using products that fight the signs of aging and can ease fine lines and wrinkles, along with helping my life long fight with breakouts. Beyond its skin clearing benefits, the retinal works wonders for helping deliver improvements with texture, tone and tell tale aging.

I’ve noticed a smoother texture and a softer all over after incorporating the serum into my routine, after consistent use across a number of week. I’d probably round it up to say using this serum religiously feels like I’m giving my skin a double dose of care—both clarity and anti-aging support.
Would I recommend the TEMPLE SPA Clear To Me Skin Clarifying Serum to those suffering with breakouts who also need help with their skin texture and tone? Yes, and purely for it’s ingredient composition, too. Salicylic acid, Vitamin E, Zinc, Vitamin A, B3 and C are hero ingredients for anyone looking for smoother, clearer skin, with a brightening boost, reduced redness and refined texture.

It comes at a £50 price tag for 28ml so granted, it’s not cheap. I would say though, that you are paying for a perfect blend of powerhouse ingredients, and a serum that very much goes further than just targeting those with pimple prone skin. Use at night only, and perhaps not every night if you’re like me and have managed to get on top of your breakouts, and you’ll get more longevity out of the bottle.
