British Beauty Week is back, and this year it’s bigger, bolder and set to shape the future of beauty. Running from 20th – 26th October 2025, the annual celebration will bring together beauty lovers, brands, founders, and policymakers to showcase innovation, creativity and the incredible impact of the £30 billion UK beauty industry.

With more than 52 million people reached in 2024, British Beauty Week 2025 has fast become one of the most exciting fixtures in the beauty calendar. 2025 promises an even more dynamic line-up of events across the country, from hands-on workshops and live demonstrations to industry think tanks and high street activations.

The Industry Hub: Innovation Front and Centre

On 22nd October, the British Beauty Council will host its flagship Industry Hub at the Royal Society of Arts. Expect a day packed with next-gen ideas:

  • TikTok Shop LIVE with cult favourite The Ordinary
  • AI-powered gel nail treatments by newcomer Umia Beauty
  • A creative workshop with disruptive beauty pioneer Dr. Alex Box
  • A first look at mdlondon’s ‘The Knowing’ — a brand-new AI innovation for beauty

This space will bring together innovators, policymakers, and leaders to spotlight the challenges and opportunities facing the sector.

The Sessions: Voices Shaping the Future

Supported by beauty heavyweights like Boots & No7 Beauty Company, Sephora, Medik8, ELEMIS, and Noli, The Sessions will gather some of the most exciting voices in beauty. Attendees will hear from Lauren Bowker (The Unseen), Aki Mandhar (Chelsea Women CEO), trend experts at Stylus, and more.

And for beauty enthusiasts? Expect live demos from industry icons, including Tendai Moyo (Ruka Hair) with her biotech-based extensions, and legendary makeup artist Kay Montano.

Beauty on the High Street

It’s not just London getting the glow-up. Across the UK, beauty brands and retailers will be offering exclusive events, discounts, and masterclasses throughout the week. Highlights include:

  • Boots and Debenhams celebrating fragrance with nationwide activations
  • LOOKFANTASTIC Altrincham offering 15% off in-store
  • John Lewis stores activating beauty events across the UK
  • Harrods hosting a special evening with Alice Henshaw, founder of Skincycles
  • The Linen Service opening a Healthy Hair Lab

Tackling Beauty’s Big Challenges

Beyond the consumer celebrations, British Beauty Week will also spotlight how the industry can innovate responsibly. Events like the Founders Network Reception (21st October) and the Packaging Solutions Summit (23rd October) will bring entrepreneurs, innovators and policymakers together to address sustainability and growth.

Why It Matters

Millie Kendall OBE, CEO of the British Beauty Council, says:

“British Beauty Week is returning for the sixth year and it’s set to be bigger — and better — than ever. Beauty has a unique opportunity to propel creativity and responsible technology at a time when we need it most. This is the perfect moment to spotlight our success and take beauty to the next level.”

And with support from brands including Sephora, Medik8, Clearpay, L’Oréal Groupe and ELEMIS, the week looks set to reaffirm the UK’s role as a global leader in beauty innovation.
