One of the most appealing aspects of this hand cream is its texture. My word, it feels incredibly luxurious to use – I can’t summarise just how rich and creamy this is without being greasy. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave any sticky residue.

Verdict
I don’t know how excited you may get over a hand cream, as honestly I have never given them much thought before, but oh my days this is ‘the crem de la crem’ of hand creams. My hands weren’t what I’d class as severely dry and cracked, I would say more rough, dry palms and knuckles and flaking around the nails, which was amplified during pregnancy. L’Occitane’s 20% Shea Butter Dry Skin Hand Cream has been a luxurious treat for me, and I cannot fault the rich, non-greasy formula which instantly provides intense hydration and most importantly -long-lasting relief.
It’s on the pricier side, so I would say invest if you are feeling really frustrated with your dry hands. As in, if they bother you on a daily basis and you’re not enjoying what you’re currently using, and you’re prepared to up your hand cream regime. I did get through mine quick when they were really bad, but now I only use once every 2 days for maintenance. And the packaging just feels luxe, you know?
