On paper, the ingredients tick every box. It sounds a perfect product for me early aging, dull, pigmented and slightly textured skin. So, what was my overall thoughts?
Personal Experience:
After incorporating Zelens Power C into my skincare routine for several weeks, the results have been impressive and I’m happy to say this is a positive review. It hasn’t diminished all of my pigmentation and got rid of my dull skin permanently, but hear me out here: this serum has 100% contributed to a glowy finish, faded pigmentation, a healthier looking complexion and a fresh overall look.
To apply, the serum has a lightweight, silky texture that absorbs quickly into the skin, leaving it feeling hydrated and refreshed. I noticed a visible improvement in the overall radiance of my complexion after around one week of using it, which I find it quite quick, and my skin felt firmer and more supple. These were the first round of benefits. It took longer to see the brightening and fading of pigmentation, but I stuck with it, and I’m happy to share that it did indeed deliver.
Dullness and hyperpigmentation, especially on my forehead and tops of cheeks, eased slightly. I say slightly, because it was (is) slightly. You can’t get rid of my deep pigmentation completely via a product alone. The best results I’ve seen have been through peels and laser. But this, with continued use and commitment, eased it up. Alongside this, the brighter, more glowy overall appearance and slight (there we go again, the word ‘slight’) fading of dark spots and harsh aging lines gave me a feeling of looking fresher and more youthful.
It isn’t a treatment that gets rid of all my pigmentation, dark spots and fine lines. But does it help to ease it, control it, and brighten? Absolutely. And for that, I’m sold.
Overall Thoughts
If your overall skin goal is a more even skin tone, then the Zelens Power C Vitamin C Treatment is one I would recommend trying. I believe it delivers a potent dose of Vitamin C with advanced technology for optimal results. It really is important if you have pigmentation or dark spots, to use a Vitamin C product which has 10% or more in the ingredients. 5% plus I’d say is fine if it’s general brightening and toning you need. But anyone like me, I’d say the more potent the Vit C, the better.
Of course, with this, the higher the price. And this product does not come cheap. It costs £105 which is certainly an ‘ouchie’ moment. I guess with saying that, I’m very happy it does work, as you would be extremely disheartened if you parted with £105 for it not to work.
